What the title says. Contrary to what my lack of uploads may suggest, I'm still around. I've just been too wrapped up in other things (school, life) to produce much art lately. I'm in the middle of my second year as a biology Ph.D. student, which keeps me occupied with non-artistic endeavors most of the time. I have also spent much of the last year-and-a-half  (and many years before that, to be honest) dealing with chronic disease-related problems, some of which leave me with little energy for hobbies beyond my weekly workload. Autoimmune issues can be obnoxious like that. But things are mostly good, or at least decidedly better than they were a year ago. Got several of my medical problems addressed and am currently working on dealing with the remainder. So, yes, I've been busy and my art has taken a backseat to other parts of my life.

I'm attempting to slowly rev up the productivity engines and get back into art-gear. I have some old work I could post, some WIPs that have been sitting on my harddrive forever, some logo work that I owe a friend, and innumerable ideas that have yet to come to fruition. I can make no promises, but I plan to push myself to get at least a few of those things done. I'd like to move forward and upward in 2013; reviving my creativity would be a start.
